In this guide, we'll introduce you to our favorite brunch spots in Copenhagen. We'll let our pictures do most of the talking and give you our favorites on the menu and the locations for each.
1. Atelier September
Atelier September is a Copenhagen café that you might have come across on Instagram or TikTok already, and it is easily one of our favorite brunch spots.
Our favorites on the menu are:
- Almond pancake with blueberry jam & cream
- Yoghurt with granola & zucchini jam
- The morning plate with their legendary whipped butter

2. Lido
From the team behind Apotek 57, Lido is one of the go-to destinations for brunch for both locals and tourists alike.
Our favorites on the menu are:
- Crepes with salted butter and maple syrup
- Folded eggs on toasted sourdough with housemade spicy oil

3. De la finca
De la finca is a cozy café in Frederiksberg that locals might prefer to keep to themselves. The avocado toast with poached eggs is among the best in the city, as is the coffee.

4. Ø12
Ø12 is one of our personal favorites, and one of the most consistently good brunch spots in the city that we love coming back to over and over again.

- Shakshuka with poached eggs, gouda and feta
- Pancakes with fresh berries and peanut butter or vanilla cream

5. Lille Petra
A hidden gem in the most literal sense. You’ll find it tucked through a gate off Kronprinsessegade, in a quiet courtyard behind the &Tradition design shop.
Our favorites on the menu are:
- Honey butter served with a sourdough bun

6. Café Noah
Café Noah is a great neighborhood café that locals keep coming back to. It’s located right by the water at Islands Brygge, so the beautiful surroundings are just as much a reason to visit as what’s on the plate.
Choose between 3, 5, and 7 dishes to assemble your perfect brunch plate.

7. Apollo
Hidden in the cobblestone courtyard of Kunsthal Charlottenborg near Nyhavn, Apollo is one of the most beautiful spots in Copenhagen for breakfast. You do not need a ticket and can just walk in through the arch.

8. Baryl
Baryl is best known for its ‘double trouble’ drink idea, serving two cold drinks of your choice in one cup. Needless to say, we love it. The brunch options are amazing, too.

9. Sonny
Sonny is a lovely café with two locations in the city. Their breakfast menu is one of our favorites, with a great selection of brunch staples. Just be aware that the menu is slightly different between the two locations.

10. Wulff & Konstali
Wulff & Konstali is a Copenhagen institution and the city’s original build-your-own brunch concept. You pick 5 or 7 smaller dishes from a menu of over 20 options and put together your own plate. The most aesthetic Wulff & Konstali is located in Nordhavn.

- Cold-smoked salmon with dill mayo
- Poppy seed waffle with vanilla-lemon whipped cream
- Almond croissant from the bakery

11. Bonni
Bonni is a super cute café that opened earlier this year in Nørrebro. You get delicious brunch plates, like their granola bowl, Turkish eggs, and a chia plate, among others.
If you love chai latte, then their iced chai is a must-try. It tasted like proper chai and not the powder you end up getting in many other places.
They also have plenty of seats outside, which are perfect for a sunny day, and for those rainy Copenhagen days, the aesthetic interior is equally inviting. The café is run by two girls who are super lovely as well. All in all, the perfect brunch spot.

12. Café Oscar
Located just a short walk from Marmorkirken, Café Oscar is a build-your-own brunch spot. You can choose between 3, 5, or 7 dishes to assemble your perfect brunch.
Our personal highlights: the fried chicken nugget with hot honey & chili mayo; the smoothie bowl, and the pancakes with chocolate sauce.
To top it off, their iced strawberry matcha, a great playlist, and super friendly service make this a must-try brunch spot in Copenhagen.

- The Living Kitchen by Zoku Copenhagen: A beautiful rooftop setting with bottomless brunch and great views.
- A.C. Perch’s Thehandel: Better known for its afternoon high tea, but the brunch here is definitely worth a visit too.
- The Sixteen Twelve: The sister spot of Cadence (that unfortunately closed recently) on Jægersborggade in Nørrebro.
- Mad & Kaffe: Another great build-your-own brunch concept, with many locations across the city.
- Bark: A great option if you’re looking for an affordable brunch in Copenhagen. You get ad libitum food and drinks for 245 kr per person.
- 20 Grams: Best known for its colorful, cozy interior and amazing cakes, but the brunch is another great reason to stop by.
- Social Brew: Perfect for a relaxed brunch with high-quality dishes and specialty coffee. For the coffee alone, it should be on your list.
- The Union Kitchen: One of the largest brunch menus in the city, well worth checking out.
- Kompa9: Brunch served all day at budget-friendly prices. What’s not to love?
- Studio X Kitchen: Their folded eggs are some of the best in the city.
